I wanted a book for my girls to read at church, and they LOVE this. It is probably a reprint of two books (bound together) from the 1950-60s, in the Little Golden Book style. The stories are great, and pitched at just the right level for 4-8yr old readers (for example martyrdom is not explained in a bloody way).

This is a great book. It's really sparked an interest in my little girl and has helped me begin to explore the lives of the wonderful saints. Thank you!

The size is just right for my 2.5 year old daughter. And the stories only take a couple of minutes to read which is a bonus at bedtime. The vintage pictures are adorable.

Good: really wonderful concept. Nice illustrations.Areas for improvement: no explanation for why they are considered Saints, what miracles they did, or what made them unique. Stories are inconsistent in level of detail and lack explanations of why these wonderful women are examples to follow. Nothing about how we can learn from them or what they are patron saints of.I hope the next version is better.

My 8 yr daughter loves this book. The stories are not too long but still interesting and the drawings are beautiful!

Gift for my niece, perfect for "1 story before bedtime", nice illustrations and easily understandable for young children being read to, and for a bit older will be approachable to a child reading short chapter books.

My 5 yod loves this book that she received in her Easter basket! It's perfect!
