I was instantly drawn into Tiffini’s story. She has a way of writing that is inviting, and encouraging. This is, truly, the most authentic, honest book I have read. Her pain and trauma are not skirted around. She reveals her wounds in the most hopeful way. Every story told, every would revealed, has a purpose to it. Misfit Table is not a “woe is me” book, but a, “Look how God showed up in the midst of it all, every valley, he was there.”Honestly, there were many moments I wanted to grab Tiffini and wrap her in a big old hug, the type of hug I give my daughter to comfort her and let her know she’s safe. As I read each page, I wanted to invite Tiffini to my table, baggage and all, and give her a safe space to unpack it. Misfit Table is the unpacking of her own journey, and she invites us into her story. As hard as some circumstances are to read about, hope is woven into every word. The breadcrumbs are revealed. Tiffini shares with us the breadcrumbs, so we too can find our way to the Father.

Tiffini infuses the story of her life with the fire and longing of love, one that can only truly be found in her Heavenly Father, or Papa as she affectionately calls him.
