I typically find that I am underwhelmed at the generalization within the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel books (I own many). As a Cavvy LOVER (pet owner and Breeder), I am impressed! Linda Whitwam has done thorough research (uses many footnotes and extensive bibliography) and quotes people worldwide, owners and breeders alike. She is obviously as taken with this breed as am I and wants to help all of us with the LONGIVITY of these precious furever puppy-dogs! The latest research is added (vaccines/food/exercise) as well as "HOW TO's" throughout the book, not to mention the many pictures, which are incredibly helpful to all of us. I will use this as an ongoing resource within my Kennel and recommend to adoptive parents alike.

I loved this book! The sections were well organized and very thorough. I did extensive research on this breed online before bringing my girl home and did not find any resources as comprehensive as this.
